  • 19.6

SIX! Piyush Chawla to Krunal Pandya. Quicker ball back of a length, to leg on the back foot pulling, well timed over deep mid wicket for 6 runs. Pandya finishes the innings with six more and Mumbai have posted a brilliant 210 from their 20 overs. The batting throughout was excellent, most noteably Kishan's blistering 62 from just 21 deliveries. We saw 14 sixes across this innings and despite Chawla taking three wickets, KKR could never rein the opposition in and they will struggle to chase this target down tonight.

Kuldeep Yadav lbw b Krunal Pandya 5 (15)

OUT! L.B.W. Verified by umpire after REFERRAL. Krunal Pandya to Kuldeep Yadav. Stock length ball, to leg on the front foot reverse sweeping, hit pad to. That's the end of the game as Pandya traps Yadav infront of the stumps LBW and Mumbai wrap up a truly emphatic 102 run victory. That is, in fact, the second largest margain of victory for the Mumbai Indians in history. All the bowler's helped to pitch it and a couple of ill judged run outs saw this innings fall apart and puts Mumbai up into 4th place, leapfrogging KKR in the process. That keeps the playoff race very tight with a few games left to play, perhaps more exciting for the neutral fans. Kishan's blistering 21 ball 62 was most certainly the highlight of this game as Mumbai pulled away from KKR in the second half of their innings and posted what was a very imposing first innings total. Thankyou for joining us and don't turn away from this IPL tournament as we near the crunch stage of this tightly contested tournament.
