Despair for Kings XI and KL Rahul but joy for Mumbai. They remain in the tournament with that win and it was by the smallest of margins. In the middle overs they looked down and out with Rahul and Aaron Finch batting superbly but once they fell the run-rate rocketed. This made it hard for the new batsmen and against an in-form Jasprit Bumrah it was extremely difficult. Mumbai now leapfrog to fourth position while Kings slip to sixth and have an uphill struggle to make the playoffs.
