OUT! Bowled. Trent Boult to Abu Jayed. Yorker, middle stump down the track driving, missed to.

Cleaned up in fine style. Full, straight and smashed into the stumps. Bangladesh have crept to 211 all out after making a positive start with the bat. At 119-1 they were in a very handy position and making the New Zealanders work but Neil Wagner changed everything. His fiery spell of 4-28 turned the match and from then on New Zealand were on the front foot. First job done for the hosts and now it will be their turn to bat after the tea break.

OUT! Bowled. Trent Boult to Mustafizur Rahman. Length ball, outside off stump no foot movement, Left to. Mustafizur will not want to see this again. Leaving a straight delivery which crashed into off stump. Not sure what he was thinking but he obviously didn't pick up the line or length.

OUT! Caught. Abu Jayed to BJ Watling. Seaming away length ball, outside off stump on the front foot driving, outside edge in the air uncontrolled to short third man, by Sarkar.
Watling flashes at one outside his off stump and is undone by a touch of movement. A big edge which travels all the way to Sarkar who is stationed at almost a fly slip position. And with that comes the declaration.
New Zealand have piled up 432-6 with a lead of 221. Ross Taylor was the star of the show with a double century while Henry Nicholls added a very good century. The Kiwis will be looking forward to getting back on the green wicket with a new ball and hoping it has some movement. Bangladesh are in for a tricky task but the one positive from this tour has been the opening stands between Tamim and Shadman.

OUT! Caught. Mustafizur Rahman to Ross Taylor. Length ball, outside off stump moves in front Slog, outside edge to wicketkeeper, by Das. Simple catch for the keeper as Taylor tries to score some quick runs for the team. Not the prettiest stroke but one he usually connects with and sends over the rope, although not this time.

OUT! Bowled. Neil Wagner to Ebadat Hossain. Half volley, off stump backing away defending, missed to. As easy as that with Wagner wrapping up the game and the series. Full and straight does the trick with Ebadat not wanting to get in line. Wagner finishes with five and he has been a real thorn in the side of Bangladesh.
New Zealand have thoroughly outplayed Bangladesh and managed to win by an innings in less than seven sessions of play. After two days were washed out a result was not looking likely but New Zealand used the conditions perfectly and capitalised on Bangladesh mistakes. Ross Taylor struck a superb double century to set up the win while Trent Boult and Neil Wagner finished with seven and nine wickets respectively.
For Bangladesh they have one more Test left to see if they can salvage anything from this tour. They have shown flashes of what they can do but not managed to put anything meaningful together. Join us for the next match at Christchurch to see what happens.

The back and forth between Mahmudullah and Wagner finally comes to an end with Wagner having the last laugh. The Bangladesh captain comes dancing down the wicket and can't get hold of the short ball to clear the rope. Another smart catch for Boult down at fine leg.
