OUT! Bowled. Hasan Ali to Dushmantha Chameera. Length ball, outside off stump no foot movement working, inside edge. Hasan Ali finishes the job, Chameera looking to work this to leg but only able to get a thin inside edge onto the stumps. Pakistan walk off full of smiles, they have been outstanding to bowl Sri Lanka out in the blink of an eye.

104 runs is all that Pakistan require to complete an authoritative 5-0 series whitewash. There are no real demons in the surface, it was just a complete mismatch as Usman Khan destroyed the Sri Lankan top order in the space of three and a half overs. In that time he took five wickets in a terrific display of new ball bowling, nipping the ball around just enough to cause issues. The batting was pretty abysmal, the visitors looking like a side already beat and not up for the fight, epitomised by the abject run out of Seekkuge Prasanna that would've looked ordinary in a village match.

FOUR! Usman Khan to Dushmantha Chameera. Length ball, outside off stump on the front foot driving, well timed in the air under control past deep cover for 4 runs. Chameera swings the bat hard and manages to skew it over the offside. You would suggest it's too little too late for the tourists.

OUT! L.B.W. NOT OUT changed by umpire to OUT after REFERRAL. Shadab Khan to Jeffrey Vandersay. Googly length ball, outside off stump on the back foot working, hit pad. Big appeal but a shake of the head by the umpire. Sarfraz takes his time, weighs up his options and then elects to review. This looked pretty close, Shadab firing in a googly with Vandersay deep in the crease. Ball tracking says it would've smashed into leg stump, so it's two wickets in the over for the legspinner.

  • 21.5

Shadab Khan to Jeffrey Vandersay. Leg spinner half volley, off stump on the front foot driving, to short extra cover for no runs, fielded by Hafeez.

  • 21.4

Shadab Khan to Jeffrey Vandersay. Leg spinner back of a length, outside off stump on the back foot cutting, missed to wicketkeeper for no runs, fielded by Ahmed.

  • 21.3

OUT! Caught. Shadab Khan to Thisara Perera. Googly length ball, middle stump on the front foot Slog, thick edge in the air uncontrolled to deep extra cover, by Ashraf. Another one bites the dust, Thisara Perera's brief resistance is ended as Shadab Khan gets himself a wicket. This was the googly, spinning across the left-hander as he aimed something violent over long on. The ball skews off a thick edge and hangs in the air for an age before being safely pouched by the man running in from long off.

  • 20.2

FOUR! Jeffrey Vandersay to Imam ul-Haq. Leg spinner back of a length, middle stump on the back foot cutting, well timed past third man for 4 runs. Slapped behind point, that completes one of the most comprehensive series whitewashes you will ever see with an utterly one-sided demolition job in Sharjah. It's been men against boys today as Pakistan win by 9 wickets, needing just three and a half hours to dismantle a feeble Sri Lanka.

Five wickets for Usman Khan within the first seven overs of the match virtually sealed the result before things had really got going in Sharjah today. He left Sri Lanka in tatters as their top order were unable to cope with his left-arm angle and a hint of assistance from the pitch. Just four men reached double figures for the tourists, the best effort a paltry 25 from the counter-attacking Thisara Perera. Their 103 all out was never going to trouble Pakistan, the men in green sealing victory at a canter just one wicket down. The floodlights were never even switched on for this day/night encounter, evidence of the wide gulf between these sides. Sri Lanka pretty terrible, Pakistan rampant - not much more can be said. Perhaps their fortunes can change in the T20I series starting on Thursday.

OUT! Caught. NOT OUT changed by umpire to OUT after REFERRAL. Jeffrey Vandersay to Fakhar Zaman. Googly back of a length, outside off stump on the back foot Steer, outside edge to wicketkeeper, by Dickwella. Edged behind? There was a big noise but the umpire doesn't look interested. Sri Lanka elect to review, they have nothing to lose at this stage. Fakhar got a bit cramped for room as he looked to guide this to third man, and replays show a thin nick on the way through. So a consolation wicket for Sri Lanka, Fakhar will be disappointed to not see this through.
