Born on April 30 , 1987 in Nagpur, Rohit first represented India at the Under 19 Cricket World Cup in 2006. His achievements include winning the T20 World Cup in 2007 in South Africa and also the ICC Champions Trophy in 2013 in England. He has already created a legacy of his own in the limited-overs format and some of his feats put him in an entirely different league from the rest.The exceptionally talented batter is known for his effortless and graceful style of batting. He holds the world record for the highest individual score in ODIs. He scored 264 runs against Sri Lanka at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata in 2014. He was also the highest run-scorer in the 2019 Cricket World Cup in England and slammed 5 centuries - most by any batter.Rohit has won the inaugural edition of the T20 World Cup in 2007 in South Africa with India.
