Player Of The Match
  • 19.6

SIX! Kagiso Rabada to Mandeep Singh. Length ball, outside off stump backing away driving, well timed in the air under control over long off for 6 runs.

How crucial will the final two deliveries be? Mandeep goes four, six to end the innings and gets his team to 166-9. A handy cameo to go along with Miller's 43 and Sarfaraz's 39. The score is slightly below the average at this ground so Delhi will be pleased going into the second innings. Kings XI have to bowl well but they know this ground so well and it will be tricky to beat them.

  • 19.5

FOUR! Kagiso Rabada to Mandeep Singh. Off cutter short, outside off stump backing away pulling, well timed in the air under control past long off for 4 runs. Crucial boundary. Rabada doesn't quite get the yorker right and Mandeep is able to smash it over the top.

  • 19.4

OUT! Run Out. Kagiso Rabada to Mohammed Shami. Short, outside off stump backing away pulling, hit body to silly mid on, fielded by Rabada. Shami doesn't even attempt to get back. Rababa has the ball in his hand while Shami tries to get his bearings and it's a casual jog from the bowler to lift off the bails.

  • 19.2

    Kagiso Rabada b Sam Curran 0 (1)

OUT! Caught. Kagiso Rabada to Murugan Ashwin. Back of a length, off stump backing away working, leading edge in the air uncontrolled to short third man, by Khan. Two players converge on the catch and it's Avesh Khan, the taller man, who snatches the ball to his chest. Rababa can see the funny side after getting the wicket.

  • 17.3

OUT! Caught. Kagiso Rabada to Hardus Viljoen. Length ball, outside off stump on the front foot working, Spliced in the air uncontrolled to extra cover, by Morris. Easy as that. Hard length into the surface which skids onto Viljoen and smashes into the splice. The bat turns in the hands and the ball lobs tamely to cover.

  • 17.1

FOUR! Kagiso Rabada to Mandeep Singh. Back of a length, outside off stump backing away pulling, well timed in the air under control past deep mid wicket for 4 runs. Just what was needed for Kings XI. Heaved into the legside where the sub makes a horrible mess of the fielding.

  • 16.2

OUT! Caught. Chris Morris to David Miller. Off cutter length ball, outside off stump moves in front Slog, top edge in the air uncontrolled to wicketkeeper, by Pant. A skier for Pant to have to deal with. Miller has thrown everything he has into the shot but it's a change of pace so he is fractionally early on it. Straight up and Pant has plenty of time to settle himself and get into position.

    Sandeep Lamichhane b Sam Curran 0 (1)

OUT! Bowled. Sam Curran to Sandeep Lamichhane. Yorker, middle stump backing away driving, missed to.

Sam Curran has done it and in some style. Not only has he got Kings XI the most unlikely of victories he has got an IPL hat-trick in the process. His yorkers have been spot on and the tailenders had no chance of keeping them out. How have Delhi lost that from the position they were in?
This loss will hurt Delhi after they were 144-3 needing a run a ball but they capitulated in extreme fashion. Losing seven wickets for just eight runs when they had two set batsmen at the crease. Wow, this IPL keeps throwing up surprises when you don't expect them.

  • 19.1
    Kagiso Rabada b Sam Curran 0 (1)

OUT! Bowled. Sam Curran to Kagiso Rabada. Yorker, middle stump on the front foot driving, missed to. Perfect yorker. Nothing Rabada could do except hear the sound of the ball hitting the stumps. This has been a crazy finish.

  • 18.3
    Hanuma Vihari b Mohammed Shami 2 (5)

OUT! Bowled. Mohammed Shami to Hanuma Vihari. Length ball, outside off stump Slog, missed to. How quickly has this game changed? Delhi are now the ones under huge pressure and they are down to the bowlers. Vihari was the last recognised batsmen but he is back in the shed after missing a straight one.

OUT! Caught. Sam Curran to Harshal Patel. Length ball, to leg backing away Slog, outside edge to wicketkeeper, by Rahul. What is going on out there? Colin Ingram c (Sub) b Sam Curran 38 (29)

OUT! Caught (Sub). Sam Curran to Colin Ingram. Half volley, outside off stump on the front foot driving, well timed in the air under control to long off. It's happening again. The ball was in the slot and Ingram thinks he has a six but the elevation is not there. He's slapped it straight down the throat of the sub field.er

OUT! Run Out. Mohammed Shami to Chris Morris. Half volley, outside off stump on the front foot driving, to mid off, direct hit by Ashwin. Oh my. Morris doesn't judge the single and he is well short of his crease. Terrific fielding from the Kings captain who is pumped after that wicket.

  • 16.4
    Rishabh Pant b Mohammed Shami 39 (26)

OUT! Bowled. Mohammed Shami to Rishabh Pant. Length ball, down leg side on the front foot Slog, missed to. Similar delivery but much quicker and skids off the shiny side of the ball. Beats Pant for pace and knocks back the stumps. Delhi can't mess it up from here, can they?

  • 16.3

SIX! Mohammed Shami to Rishabh Pant. Off cutter length ball, down leg side on the front foot Slog, well timed in the air under control over deep mid wicket for 6 runs. Anything in the slot goes the distance when Pant is batting. Watch out if your in the crowd.
