Wonderful bowling display from South Africa. Lungi Ngidi stands out with his six wicket haul. The rest of the bowling attack chipped in as well to restrict the Australians to 271. Aaron Finch and D'Arcy Short top scored for the visitors with 69 apiece. They needed someone to go on to make a big score to get up to that 300 mark. The home side will be confident of chasing this down, but the pitch was slowing up at the end of that innings and was offering some turn as well. It should be a good finish to the match.

South Africa have timed their chase to absolute perfection. A superb performance with bat and ball from the hosts today. Janneman Malan will take the headlines for his fantastic unbeaten century, and deservedly so. Lungi Ngidi shouldn't go unnoticed with his six wicket haul earlier in the day either. Australia once again not up to their usual best, and that means that South Africa go 2-0 up with one to play.
