Bangladesh won't be happy with how they batted at the end after putting themselves into a solid position with multiple big partnerships. Unfortunately nobody went on to score the big runs which was required to get closer to the total. The two South African openers will now come out to bat with a lead of 176 and plenty of time but the surface is beginning to offer a touch for the spinners.

South Africa's session as the players walk off for Tea. It all started off well for Bangladesh with partnerships all throughout the order, in fact it was the first time Bangladesh have had 50+ stands for third, fourth, fifth and sixth wickets in a Test innings. But just before Tea they started to lose wickets and they are now left eight down and still trailing by 188 runs. The Proteas openers will now have their minds on batting again and taking their lead out of Bangladesh's sight.

There it is! The final wicket for South Africa on an extremely dominating morning, taking seven wickets in the space of 17 overs. Bangladesh have been poor and played some bad shots which will disappoint them after four days in which they have competed and had an outside chance of getting a draw. It will come back to the toss though which they won and decided to bowl first on what turned out to be a very good batting wicket.
Once South Africa were inserted they stamped their authority with Dean Elgar, Aiden Markram and Hashim Amla making big runs. Since then they have always been on the front foot and with a good bowling attack to back them up a win was easily in their sights. Bangladesh might have to make changes in the second Test along with South Africa who will need to bring in another bowler after Morne Morkel pulled his side and is ruled out.
