A gritty innings from Dickwella almost denied New Zealand victory, but their relentless, disciplined bowling eventually brought about the mistake. The wickets were shared verry evenly amongst the bowlers. That squares the series at one apiece, with both sides taking away 60 points in the new World Test Championship. Latham takes out Player of the Match for his 154, whilst Watling is Player of the Series.
