OUT! Caught. Keemo Paul to Barry McCarthy. Length ball, outside off stump on the front foot driving, mis-timed in the air uncontrolled to long on, by King. The useful partnership finally broken for 30 runs. McCarthy opens his arms, but the ball stops in the pitch slightly and the contact only sends it to long on. West Indies will be pretty happy with their performance in the field. After a good start from Ireland it was the introduction of Chase that changed things. Runs soon dried up and the pressure that resulted led to wickets. Other than the nice partnership between Adair and Tucker wickets fell steadily, some to good bowling and some to poor shots. There is something in this pitch for the bowlers though and Ireland will need to exploit it early if they are to have a chance of backing up the late order runs and winning

Mixed emotions from Lewis and the crowd as needing one to win and six for a century he sends the ball sky high, but it lands just yards inside the rope. A comfortable win it is for the West Indies. While there were some wobbles along the way, and things to work on, they were always the better side today. The bowlers kept things tight and, alongside the wickets for Joseph, kept Ireland under pressure. 180 was always going to be a small target, but despite Lewis' innings there will be batsman who'll be disappointed to have given their innings away. For Ireland they'll look at how they were tied down by the spinners and, despite some good effort in the field, whether they made full use of the indifferent bounce in the pitch early. An interesting game today and another interesting encounter awaits on Thursday
