  • Zimbabwe won their maiden men's T20 international against Pakistan when the two sides faced each other two days ago, defeating the team from the subcontinent by a margin of 19 runs.
  • Pakistan have lost at least one game in each of their last four men's multi-game bilateral T20I series; the last time the Men in Green registered a clean sweep in such a series was against Zimbabwe in 2020 (3-0).
  • Following a run of seven consecutive losses at home, Zimbabwe finally managed to break this streak by beating Pakistan by a margin of 19 runs two days ago; the Chevrons however have never won two continuous games at home in the T20Is.
  • Zimbabwe will be eyeing their maiden men's multi-game bilateral T20I series win after failing to register a series victory in their 23 previous attempts (D6 L17).
  • Pakistan have logged 103 wins in men's T20I history, more than any other team in the format, while Zimbabwe (23%) have the lowest win rate of any team to have played at least 15 matches in the men's format.
  • 11% of the deliveries recorded by Zimbabwe bowlers in men's T20Is since the start of 2020 have been half volleys, the highest share of any Test-playing nation in that time.
  • Fakhar Zaman needs 52 runs to become the seventh Pakistan player to score 1,000 runs in men's T20Is; he would also become the fourth-fastest Pakistani batsman to reach to 1000-run mark if he achieves so in his next innings (Babar Azam - 26 innings, Mohammad Hafeez - 41 innings and Ahmed Shehzad - 42 innings).
  • Luke Jongwe registered Zimbabwe's best men's T20I figures in the 2nd game of the series (4/18); he currently tops the bowling charts for picking up the most wickets in this series (six).
  • No batter has reached 50 on more occasions in men's T20Is since the start of 2019 than Pakistan's Babar Azam (10); he has a good connection rate of 79% in the format since the start of last year, only KL Rahul (85%), Kane Williamson (83%) and Virat Kohli (80%) have better rates.
  • Pakistan wicket-keeper Mohammad Rizwan is just two catches away from becoming the player with the most catches since the start of 2020 (14), only New Zealand's Tim Southee has caught more in this timeframe (15).
