Phew, time to take a breath. What a session for Zimbabwe, they have ripped apart the West Indies middle and lower order to bundle the tourists out for 219. It was a fantastic group bowling effort, everyone maintaining their discipline on a placid surface, but Cremer finishing as the pick with 4/64. You've got to spare a thought for Shai Hope who was superb for his unbeaten 90. He played some attractive strokes but could only watch on helplessly as the final seven Windies wickets fell for just 45 runs. There is plenty of spin there for the spinners already, but you would suggest that is a below par score.

That was a fantastic session for the tourists, they took seven wickets this afternoon for just 58 runs to secure a more than handy lead. Roach got things going but then it was Bishoo, Bishoo, they all fall down. The legspinner picked up 5/79 and looked a threat with almost every delivery, although he was helped at times by some pretty ordinary strokes. Zimbabwe will need to come out fired up this evening and look for wickets straight away, as this tough surface will be at it's worst for batting in the fourth innings.

A tough day for Zimbabwe in the field yesterday after the Windies batsmen put the bowler's under serious pressure with their aggressive style. The score has been pushed on to such an extent that Zimbabwe will require a world record chase if they are to win from here. That is without any more runs to be added but Windies will probably bat on this morning so that Roston Chase can bring up his fourth Test century. Zimbabwe have shown some fight recently but two days is a long time to try and bat, with the pitch offering as much spin as it is, and Devendra Bishoo will be eyeing up a few wickets.
What a delivery first up from Graeme Cremer, the googly which is too good for the number ten batsman. Through the big gate between bat and pad and knocks over leg stump. Is Chase going to be stranded and can Cremer get a hat-trick?

That will be stumps on day three. West Indies have dominated again, and are in the perfect position heading into day four. Zimbabwe will need a world record if they want to chase this down, so very unlikely that the visitors can lose from here. Roston Chase has the chance of making a century tomorrow morning if his captain lets him, but either way, the Windies should be winning this game with two days still to go.

Unfortunately the fun ends after Mpofu can't get enough elevation to beat the man at long on. He was jumping, hoping that the ball would go for six but not this time.
West Indies win by 117 runs and they go 1-0 up in the two match series. It has been a roller coaster day for the crowd after Zimbabwe started off incredibly strong in the first innings but then fell away after that. Hamilton Masakadza and Solomon Mire got a 99 run opening partnership and Brendan Taylor scored 73 on his return to Test cricket but there was too many soft dismissals. That will be the one thing that will disappoint the coaching staff as they had a real chance to take this game into a fifth day and then you never know what would have happened.
