Micah Christenson Biography

Christenson started playing club volleyball in 2005 with Asics Quicksilver. He attended the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, where he studied Business and Human Biology. During his time there, he excelled in volleyball and received numerous accolades.

Professional Career

Christenson made his international debut in 2013, competing for the United States. He plays as a setter and is currently part of the Leo Shoes Modena team in Italy. His coaches include Andrea Giani for his club team and John Speraw for the national team.

Awards and Achievements

Christenson has received several awards throughout his career. He was named Best Setter at the 2018 World Championship in Italy and Bulgaria. In 2017, he was named Most Valuable Player at the NORCECA Continental Championship. He also earned the title of Best Setter at the 2015 World Cup in Japan.

In college volleyball, Christenson received the Lloy Ball award as the Best Setter in 2014 and 2015. He was also named Best Server and Best Setter at the 2013 NORCECA Continental Championship. In 2012, he was named American Volleyball Coaches Association Newcomer of the Year and made the AVCA All-American first team in 2014 and 2015.
