DeFalco pursued higher education in Retail Consumer Studies at California State University, Long Beach. During his collegiate career, he earned numerous accolades. He was named American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) First Team All-American four times and received the 2016 AVCA Newcomer of the Year award.

Achievements and Honours

In 2017, DeFalco was honoured as the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF) Player of the Year. He also received the AVCA Player of the Year award in both 2017 and 2019. His performance at the 2014 North, Central America and Caribbean Volleyball Confederation (NORCECA) U19 Championship earned him titles of Best Spiker and Most Valuable Player (MVP).

International Representation

DeFalco has represented the United States in various international competitions. He participated in beach volleyball at the 2014 Youth Olympic Games in Nanjing. His sister, Teagan, has also represented the United States in beach volleyball at the U21 level.

Current Endeavours

As of August 2024, DeFalco continues to play for AZS Olsztyn Indykpol. His contributions to the team are significant, given his extensive experience and skill set. Under the guidance of his coaches, he aims to further his career and achieve new milestones.
