Advani, Rupesh notch up easy wins

Bengaluru, January 10: Pankaj Advani kicked of the 8th Senior National Billiards on a positive note as the world champion notched up an easy win at the Karnataka State Billiards Association on Wednesday.

PSPB’s Advani made short work of Tushar Shresta of BHI 3-0. Advani crafted a break of 55 before effortlessly taking the first frame 100-33. From there on it was a a straight game as the champion took the next two games 103-15 and 100-05 to seal an easy win.

Elsewhere, Rupesh Shah and Sourav Kothari both had easy outings as Rupesh outclassed Lakshay Sudi 3-0, and Kothari edged Utsav Ramani 3-0.
