Paes-Dlouhy enter semis of Gerry Weber Open

Halle, Germany, Jun 12 (UNI) Indian tennis ace Leander Paes and his doubles partner Lukas Dlouhy beat the German combination of Michael Berrer and Tommy Haas 6-3, 6-4 to enter the semi-finals of the Euro 713,000 Gerry Weber Open here today.

The Indo-Czech duo were in sublime form as they saved three breakpoints to seal the first set in just 25 minutes.

They continued the good show in the second set, winning a break point in the ninth game before holding serve in the 10th to emerge victorious.

The pair will now meet Ivar Lubicic of Croatia and Robin Soderling of Sweden in the last four stage.
