SIX! Tim Southee to Ben Cutting. Slower ball half volley, wide outside off stump on the front foot driving, well timed in the air under control over long off for 6 runs. Wacked miles back but it's too little too late for Mumbai. RCB secure a vital victory by 14 runs.

What a match we have been treated to this evening. Two IPL heavyweight franchises have given it absolutely everything tonight, and it is the hosts RCB who have landed the knock-out punch. The match see-sawed one way and then the other on a wicket that offered something for everyone. The Pandya brothers looked like they could pull off an almighty heist at one stage, but some composed death bowling by Tim Southee and Mohammed Siraj saw the hosts over the line. We'll be back tomorrow with more IPL action.

OUT! Caught. Tim Southee to Hardik Pandya. Slower ball half volley, outside off stump on the front foot driving, in the air uncontrolled to long on, by Kohli. Kohli snaffles a screamer at long on, surely that's the match in the bag now for RCB. Effortless brilliance by the Indian captain, swooping down low to clinch the ball an inch or so above the turf. It's party time in Bengaluru.

OUT! Caught. Mohammed Siraj to Krunal Pandya. Half volley, down leg side moves in front Scoop, leading edge in the air uncontrolled to backward point, by Singh. Could that be the final nail in the coffin? The crowd certainly think so, they are celebrating like crazy. Krunal was looking for a cheeky ramp shot over short fine leg but the ball balloons into the offside for an easy catch.

APPEAL! Verified by umpire after REFERRAL. Mohammed Siraj to Krunal Pandya. Full toss, down leg side on the front foot flick, hit pad to silly point for 1 run, shy attempt by Siraj, appeal made for L.B.W. RCB burn a review with an awful appeal. I think maybe they just want to slow things down a bit.
