Mumbai, Oct 31: Indian batsman Rohit Sharma will commence a new innings in life in December as he is set to marry his fiancee Ritika Sajdeh.

Rohit, who is currently preparing for the 4-Test home series against South Africa starting on November 5, will tie the knot with Ritika on December 13 (Sunday).

Batting legend Sachin Tendulkar and most of Rohit's national team-mates are likely to attend the wedding in Mumbai.

"It is a good date and most importantly, there won't be any cricketing commitments for Rohit as the Test series against South Africa ends on December 7," a source close to the India cricketer told "Mid-day" newspaper.

The first Test between India and South Africa will be played in Mohali and the last game ends on December 7.

Rohit and Ritika, who is also his manager, got engaged in April this year.
