  • The West Indies have won their last three consecutive men's T20Is against Australia, as many as they had won in all their eight meetings in the format prior (W3, L5).
  • Australia have won each of their two previous encounters with the West Indies in men's T20Is at Daren Sammy National Cricket Stadium; in fact, Australia have won all four of their men's T20Is at the venue overall – their most at any venue with a 100% win percentage.
  • The West Indies have won only two of their last seven multigame bilateral men's T20I series on home turf (D1, L4), defeating Afghanistan 3-0 in June 2017 and Sri Lanka 2-1 in March 2021.
