  • New Zealand have won their last four completed men’s T20Is against the West Indies, including both games in a 2-0 series win when they last faced them in November 2020; the Black Caps’ last defeat to the West Indies in the format came on 6 July 2014 at Roseau.
  • This will be just the third time the West Indies and New Zealand will be meeting in a men’s T20I fixture in the West Indies after the teams traded wins on July 5 and 6 in 2014; Andre Fletcher posted a half-century in each of those games.
