The ICC Women's Cricket World Cup 2025, the 13th edition of the tournament, is set to be held jointly in India and Sri Lanka from September 30 to November 2, 2025.

The eight-team event features a round-robin group stage where each team plays seven matches, followed by knockout semi-finals and a final. Matches will be played across five venues, with the final hosted either in Navi Mumbai or Colombo, depending on the teams, as if Pakistan qualify, the final will be in Colombo.

Navi Mumbai was drafted in as a venue after Bengaluru's Chinnaswamy Stadium was deemed unfit to host matches. The tournament boasts a prize pool of $13.88 million USD, significantly higher than past editions, highlighting the growing stature of women's cricket globally.

Australia enter as defending champions and are the most successful team historically, while others like India, England, New Zealand, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Pakistan compete with high hopes for their maiden or additional titles.
