Deepika Kumari, born on 13 June 1994 in Ranchi, India, is a prominent figure in Indian archery. Representing India, she has been active in the sport for over a decade. Kumari's journey began in Kharsawan before she moved to the Tata Archery Academy in 2008.

Kumari has earned two silver medals in the Women's Recurve Team event at the World Championships (2011 and 2015). She also won gold at the 2009 World Youth Championships, becoming the first female archer from India to achieve this feat.
In the Women's Individual Ranking Round held on 25 July 2024 at Invalides, Kumari competed against archers from various countries. She advanced through the rounds, defeating Reena Parnat of Estonia and Quinty Roeffen of the Netherlands on 31 July 2024.
