Dhinidhi started swimming at the age of six. Her dedication and talent quickly became evident. She trains at the Dolphin Aquatics Academy in Bengaluru under the guidance of coach Madhu Kumar B.M.

Competitive Debut

She made her competitive debut at the 2022 Asian Games, held in September 2023 in Hangzhou, China. Dhinidhi competed in the 200m freestyle, finishing 12th. She also participated in the 4x100m freestyle relay and the 4x200m freestyle relay, securing seventh and eighth places respectively.

World Championships Performance

In February 2024, Dhinidhi competed in her first World Championships in Doha, Qatar. She ranked 21st in the Mixed 4x100m Medley Relay with a time of 4:05.10. In individual events, she placed 40th in the Women's 200m Freestyle with a time of 2:10.41 and 41st in the Women's 100m Freestyle with a time of 59.41.

National Achievements

Dhinidhi's national achievements are noteworthy. In 2023, she became the youngest female swimmer to win seven gold medals at the National Games of India held in Goa. She also holds the national record for the Women's 200m Freestyle.

Her family has been a significant source of support throughout her journey. Her father, Desinghu, and mother, Jesitha Vijayan, have been instrumental in her development as an athlete.
