    Over 50. 7 runs. Bowler: Nathan Coulter-Nile. India: 313/8 (rr 6.26)
  • 49.6

Nathan Coulter-Nile to Mohammed Shami. Back of a length, outside off stump backing away driving, missed to wicketkeeper for no runs, fielded by Wade.

Australia are underway with a victory in the series and drag it back to 3-1 with one to play. Good performance all round from them today. Aaron Finch and David Warner set things up with their mammoth opening stand. Then a decent display with the ball and in the field restricted India 21 short of their score. The hosts were not at their best with the ball, and made a good effort in the chase to recover, but it was not enough today. A good confidence booster for Australia, and they will now set their sights on finishing the series with another win.

FOUR! Nathan Coulter-Nile to Mohammed Shami. Full toss, to leg on the front foot Slog, well timed in the air under control past deep mid wicket for 4 runs. Bashed over the legside for a one bounce four. But it doesn't really matter now. Coulter-Nile served up a knee high full toss that is easily put away.

  • 49.4

OUT! Caught (Sub). Nathan Coulter-Nile to Axar Patel. Length ball, to leg on the front foot driving, mis-timed in the air uncontrolled to long on. Patel hits through the line but straight into the hands of long on. Off the bottom end of the bat and never looked like clearing the man. Australia have this one in the bag now.

    Axar Patel c (Sub) b Nathan Coulter-Nile 5 (6)

OUT! Bowled. Kane Richardson to MS Dhoni. Slower ball back of a length, outside off stump on the back foot pulling, inside edge. He drags on this time though. Dhoni swings hard, loses his shape, and gets thick inside edge back onto his leg stump. That might be curtains for the hosts.

    MS Dhoni b Kane Richardson 13 (10)
  • 47.4

SIX! Kane Richardson to MS Dhoni. Slower ball back of a length, outside off stump on the back foot driving, well timed in the air under control over deep extra cover for 6 runs. • 46.3

FOUR! Pat Cummins to MS Dhoni. Back of a length, off stump on the back foot flick, well timed past fine leg for 4 runs. Dhoni is the last hope. He tucks it off the hip to the fine leg fence to earn a much needed boundary.

  • 46.2

Pat Cummins to Axar Patel. Length ball, to leg on the front foot pushing, thick edge to third man for 1 run, fielded by Richardson.

  • 46.1

OUT! Bowled. Pat Cummins to Manish Pandey. Length ball, outside off stump on the front foot Slog, missed. Australia taking vital wickets which is leading them to a victory. Cummins skids it through Pandey's ugly swipe, and it clips the top of leg stump to send him on his way.

Change in pace, Kedar is through the shot too early, and chips it straight up in the air down to long off. Finch mops up, and it pegs back India again. MS Dhoni is the new man though. An experienced head in these situations.
