Aman Hakim Khan is an Indian cricketer, who plays for Mumbai in domestic cricket. Khan was born on January 31, 1997, in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. He is a hard-hitting middle-order batter and also bowls at a handy medium pace. Pravin Amre, a seasoned cricketer, notably assisted Aman in honing his skills. Aman continued to perform well while being coached by Pravin Amre and was selected to play for Mumbai's U19 team.
Aman started playing domestic cricket with List A Cricket and made his List A debut on March 2021 in the match of Mumbai vs. Saurashtra at Delhi. Until the end of the 2022-23 season, he got the chance to play only 6 List A cricket matches, in which he has taken two wickets at an economy of 7.23 and also scored 34 runs with his bat.
Aman also played his first T20 games for Mumbai against Karnataka in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy match in Guwahati in 2021–2022. In addition, he has only had the opportunity to participate in 19 T20 cricket matches. So far, he has taken four wickets while scoring 187 runs with his bat and given runs at an economy rate 8.15.
As far as his IPL career is concerned, Aman got a chance to be a part of IPL 2022 after he was bought by the Kolkata Knight Riders for INR 20 lakh. However, his impressive domestic performance grabbed the attention of Delhi franchise head coach Ricky Ponting, who claimed that Khan was the breakout star for the franchises in IPL 2023. Ahead of the IPL 2023 auction, Delhi Capitals traded Aman Hakim Khan to their team in exchange for Shardul Thakur.
Khan played his first IPL match against Gujarat Titans and scored his first half-century in his IPL career. He scored a brilliant half-century in 41 balls, with three 4's and 6's.
