Born on September 29, 1996, Ricky Bhui stands is 27 year old all-rounder from Andhra Pradesh. He is proficient as a right-handed batsman and occasional leg spinner. His journey in cricket began at Visakha Valley School in Visakhapatnam, where he meticulously honed his cricketing skills alongside his academic pursuits. Graduating in 2020, Bhui emerged as a promising prospect from the vibrant cricketing landscape of Andhra Pradesh.
During his formative years, Ricky Bhui showcased his batting prowess as a prolific run-getter in the Under-19 circuit. Bursting onto the scene at a tender age of 17, he displayed remarkable consistency by notching up seven 30-plus scores in his initial nine innings during the 2013-14 season. This early success catapulted him into the Andhra Pradesh Ranji Trophy squad, marking the beginning of his journey in senior cricket.
Bhui announced his arrival in style by crafting unbeaten centuries on both his List A and Twenty20 debut matches, underlining his potential as a formidable talent in Indian cricket. In the Vijay Hazare Trophy, he slammed an unbeaten century, scoring a sublime 103 off just 79 balls. Subsequently, in his T20 debut, he continued his impressive run by notching up a composed half-century.
