FC Barcelona on Thursday, March 2, thrashed Sporting Gijon 6-1 in La Liga game week 25 encounter. Post-match, manager Luis Enrique addressed the media and confirmed that he will leave his duties at the end of this season.

Guardiola, a former Barcelona boss, is one of the most successful managers in the history of the Spanish side.
When asked about Luis Enrique's decision, Pep Guardiola said: "As a Barcelona fan, I'm sad that we'll miss the perfect trainer for Barcelona.
"In his three years, they have played unbelievable football. They are the best team in the world.
"Thank you for all he has done in three years at my club."
Post Guardiola era, Barcelona failed to win major accolades until Luis Enrique came into the fray. The former AS Roma boss, transformed the team in his debut season and the club won yet another treble in 2014/15 season.
Unfortunately, the honeymoon period was over in the very next season. Although the club won a domestic double, their game was not appreciated much by experts.
In this season, Barcelona experienced a topsy-turvy journey so far. They have reached the final of Copa del Rey and is still in contention to win the La Liga, although chances are bleak.
They have lost their Champions League round of 16 first leg match 0-4 against PSG which means they are virtually out of the competition.
With a sudden drop in form and poor on-field performance, pressure was mounting on Enrique who finally revealed last night that he will no longer Barcelona manager after this season.
