Bengaluru, Mar 6: I-League game week 12 kicked off on Saturday, March 4 with Aizawl FC picking up yet another win over Mumbai FC and retain their second position in the league table.

The second match witnessed East Bengal strengthening their grip at the top of the table as they defeated Shillong Lajong 2-1 away from home.

Australian striker Chris Payne scored a brace helping East Bengal pick up crucial three points. It was Payne's maiden I-League goals.
