Bengaluru, April 10: After a month-long break, I-League finally resumed last Saturday (April 8). Game week 15 kicked off with Chennai City FC beating Minerva Punjab 2-0.

Shillong Lajong travelling away defeated DSK Shivajians 3-2 in an exciting clash in Pune.

Relegation-threatened Mumbai Indians took the field under new coach Oscar Bruzon. They managed a 0-0 draw with Churchill Brothers.

The big matches were on Sunday (April 9). It began with league leaders Aizawl FC facing Bengaluru FC. The Blues managed a late winner to defeated Aizawl FC 1-0.

The headlining act of the game week was the Kolkata derby. Mohun Bagan defeated arch-rivals East Bengal 2-1 thanks to two world class strikes from Sony Norde and Azharuddin Mallick. Rowlin Borges pulled one back for the Red and Gold in the 90th minute.
