Liverpool have been linked with an audacious swoop for Bayern Munich mega star Thomas Muller according to reports in Germany. Yes, you heard it right! World Cup winning superstar Muller could be on his move to Anfield with Jurgen Klopp being a huge admirer of his compatriot.

The Liverpool boss has reportedly told the Liverpool hierarchy that he wants to add Thomas Muller part of his new-look forward line, according to reports in Germany.

The Bayern Munich star endured a difficult season last term, often being forced to play second fiddle to Robert Lewandowski and his future could be further compromised by the recent arrival of James Rodriguez from Real Madrid.

Sport Bild claims Klopp has made it known he would jump at the chance to make the World Cup winner an integral part of his team, but is likely to face competition from Chelsea, Arsenal and Juventus if Bayern opt to let Muller go.

The Bundesliga champions claim the 27-year-old remains an integral part of their squad with Karl-Heinz Rummenigge saying: 'Both the club and Thomas agree on the assessment of last season - "it wasn't a good one."
