Charges against McGregor over phone incident dropped

Conor McGregor was arrested in March for allegedly taking a fan's phone and smashing it, but charges have now been dropped.

Miami, May 14: The charges Conor McGregor was facing in Miami for allegedly taking and smashing a man's mobile phone have been dropped.

McGregor was facing one charge of strong-armed robbery and one charge of misdemeanour criminal mischief, but Florida prosecutors opted to drop both during a hearing on Monday (May 13).

Police then reported that McGregor smashed the phone by stamping on it multiple times, then left with the phone.
