Mohammad Nabi, an epitome of versatility and resilience, has been a pivotal figure in Afghan cricket since his debut in 2009. Born on January 1, 1985, in Logar province, Afghanistan, Nabi's journey to cricketing stardom is a symbol of his determination and talent, despite facing adversities early in his life due to the prevailing war in his homeland.

Nabi's tryst with cricket began in Pakistan, where he sought refuge with his family during turbulent times. It was here that he honed his skills in tennis ball and tape ball cricket, laying the foundation for his remarkable career. Training at the Arshad Khan Academy in Peshawar, Nabi caught the eye of former English batting great Mike Gatting, marking the beginning of his ascent in the cricketing world.
