Sania slips four places to 46th, Paes up up one place to ninth

New Delhi, June 18 (UNI) An inconsistent performance after returning from a long injury lay-off saw Sania Mirza slip four places to 46th in the latest WTA singles rankings issued today.

The 20-year-old Hyderabadi, who lost in the second round at DFS Classic in Birmingham last week, has 540 ranking points to her kitty.

Meanwhile, a semi-final finish partnering Martin Damm of Czech Republic in the Gerry Webber Open last week, saw veteran Davis Cupper Leander Paes move one place up to ninth spot in the recently published ATP individual doubles ranking, while his estranged partner Mahesh Bhupathi made no impact in the ranking chart as he held on to his 20th spot with 1815 points.
